About KUDO
KUDO Eyewear is a Swedish performance eyewear brand based in Falun, Dalarna. It was registered on 14 August 2026 and is run by its founder, Walter Söderqvist, as a sole trader (enskild näringsidkare). KUDO is new, and says so plainly — the first product is out, the company behind it is real and registered, and everything on this site can be checked.
Why KUDO exists
Performance eyewear tends to sit at two extremes. On one side, established brands with strong engineering and prices that put them out of reach for most people who train seriously but are not paid to. On the other, anonymous low-cost frames with no identity, no accountability and no one standing behind them.
KUDO is an attempt at a third option: modern performance eyewear with a clear identity, priced so that a student who skis four times a week can own a pair, sold by a company you can actually identify and contact.
Our approach
One frame, done properly, before many frames done adequately. KUDO Shield is the whole range at launch, in five mirrored lens colourways at 749 SEK. Adding models is easy; getting one right is not.
Claims stay behind what can be documented. If a weight, a material or a lens standard is not published on this site yet, it is because it has not been confirmed — not because it is being hidden. That list shrinks as testing and supplier documentation come in.
Orders leave from Sweden, and the person who packs them is the person who founded the company.
Built from the north
KUDO comes out of Falun, in the middle of Swedish cross-country skiing country. The reference conditions are the real ones here: low winter sun across open snow, wet spring tarmac, long summer evenings on gravel. Cycling, cross-country skiing, running and time spent outdoors shape what gets built.

Younger athletes and active people who train because they want to, not because someone is paying them — orienteers, skiers, cyclists, runners, and anyone who spends more of the week outside than in.
